As coaches, we spend much of our working lives creating space for other people.
Supervision creates space for us.
Space to step back from the client in front of us and look more widely at what is happening.
To notice patterns.
To explore the dynamics within the coaching relationship and the wider system.
To bring the questions, uncertainties and ethical dilemmas that inevitably arise when we work deeply with other human beings.
And sometimes, simply to put down some of what we are carrying.
For me, supervision is not a tick-box exercise.
It is a place for deep reflective practice — a place to see more, think more deeply and continue to grow into the coach you want to be.
Supervision that supports the coach as well as the coaching
The world our clients are navigating is increasingly complex.
Organisational change. AI. Mental health. Identity. Inclusion. Hybrid working. Increasing pace and pressure. Blurred boundaries between coaching, leadership, wellbeing and organisational life.
We can't always arrive at clear answers.
But we can develop our capacity to stay curious, grounded and thoughtful in the middle of that complexity.
Supervision gives us somewhere to explore:
What am I noticing?
What might I be missing?
What belongs to my client — and what might belong to me?
What else is happening in the wider system?
Where am I getting hooked?
What is this work asking of me?
And how do I continue to resource myself to do it well?
Good supervision doesn't give you the answers. It helps you see further.

1:1 Coach Supervision
A regular place to bring your coaching practice — the difficult client, the ethical niggle, the session you can't stop thinking about, a pattern you are beginning to notice, your own capacity, or simply the question:
What is happening here that I can't yet see?

Group Coach Supervision
We take the work outside and draw on movement, nature, place, metaphor and the collective wisdom of the group to open up different ways of thinking.
The outdoors isn't simply the setting. It becomes part of the work.

Internal Coach Supervision
Internal coaching brings its own particular complexity.
You may be coaching within a system that you are also part of — holding organisational knowledge, relationships and dynamics that an external coach simply doesn't encounter in the same way.
Being inside the system changes what you see — and what you carry.
